We made chocolate chip cookies and turned it into a math lesson (I am LOVING how we can turn just about anything into a learning experience, I never really noticed that before we started home schooling) so we used that whole american thing of so many cups or quarter cups instead of the usual ml like we always do. They came out PERFECT and no there are none left hahaha.
Here’s the recipe we used.
**preheat oven to 180 deg c
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups softened butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 to 4 cups chocolate chips (we used 2 boxes)
More everything together and mix well. Roll into little balls and flatten onto a greased cookie try (or the back of cupcake trays like we did) – make them smallish cause they “grow” in the oven.
Bake for 12ish minutes and voila!!!
***you can add peanut butter or macadamia nuts to it as well. SO good but Fysh didn’t want to this time round.
